YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!

It figures...

It just figures, I get a summer job and now I am accepted into a CNA class.  Should I take the class...or the job?

Sad...very, very sad...

How many people think that people today can spell?  I think that many times people can spell, but they are getting lazy about thinking and re-reading what they have typed.  For example, words like, "wold," in the sentence, "What wold I recommend my friend do when she/he grows up," is just laziness.  I don't know, but I feel that if you are putting your opinions--basically yourself out there for people to comment on you should take it seriously.  What do you want the world to see?

I don't know, maybe I'm old fashioned.

Writer's Block: LiveJournal Book Club

Out of all of your favorite books, pick just one you'd recommend everyone read. As a bonus: why did you pick that one?

Geeze, this is a toughy.  I would say that anyone who likes fantasy should read Terry Pratchett's books.  If I had to pick one out of the throng to recomend I think it would be...................Night Watch.  It's a little more action packed than some of the books and has fun characters in it.  It's better though if you read all the books...or at least the ones that deal with Sam Vimes and the Watch.

I got a new tattoo...

What do you think of it?

YAY!

I bought my first piece of furniture.  Yes, I do have a loveseat that I can keep and a bed, but those were bought for me by United Helpers.  And yes, it does need to be cleaned up...it came from a household that owned male dogs...I'll let you fill in the cleaning needs.  I got it for $10, Steve grumbled about how it should have been a drag away free.  Meh.  I'm happy.  I got a large, if worn chair for...with cleaning...$25.  *Shrugs,* seems a good deal to me.

Okay, so now I'm sad...

I don't know how many people who are on my blog list have ever read or seen Ai no Kusabi by Rieko Yoshihara, but I just got to the end of it.  I hate sad endings.  I don't want to give too much away in case there are people reading or watching it now that haven't finished, but it's sad.  Romantic, maybe, but sad.  *Snuffle snuffle*
